Growing up on the shores of the Northumberland Strait on Canada's Atlantic Coast, Sylvio developed a lifelong connection to the sea and began sailing at an early age, spending nine consecutive summers at his local sailing school.
For the past four seasons, Sylvio has worked as a professional charter captain in the British Virgin Islands, gaining extensive experience aboard luxury charter yachts. He holds his RYA Yachtmaster Certification, BVI Boatmaster, Bahamas Boat Master, along with additional professional maritime qualifications.
His extensive knowledge of the BVI allows him to create thoughtfully planned itineraries tailored to each charter. From iconic destinations and exceptional snorkeling and diving locations to secluded anchorages, quiet beaches and memorable shoreside experiences, Sylvio seamlessly blends the highlights of the islands with lesser‑known destinations, creating a charter experience that feels both personalized and unique.
